Pray For Strength
1 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers: 2 But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The wicked are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish.” ~ Psalms 1:1-6
~ Pray Silently ~
Oh’ Lord God in heaven hold my hands as they tremble, calm my mind as it struggles with doubt, bestill my heart for it will not relent, Oh’ God renew my faith. Lord, I ask you – the one who knows all things, the one who knows my troubles and tribulations, the one who knows best the next course I should travel, Oh’ My God, My Savior, I pray that you might renew my strength. Oh’ Lord in heaven, take me past these people of wickedness, these people of selfishness, these people who are so blind with sin, Lord My God I beg you to deliver me from this place and shield me forever with your love, might, and mercy so that I might know peace. I pray not for an easy life, but that of the will to endure this difficult path which tho has called me to travel. Oh’ my Lord give me strength. In this I pray, Amen ~ Brian Stark (2014, Jan. 13)
