It is not everyday that a person with such talent, love, and energy is born and rises to such heights as our brother Robin Williams.  He was a man that many have written so many wonderful words about, with such love and affection, and with so many adjectives and verbs. It is hard to imagine such a large personality could ever be born in our insane world in the first place, but Our Lord shows His love for mankind yet again when sending
Robin to us.

Through Robin we find how to look at life with joy, with honesty, with comedy, and laughter.  He made a living through entertainment giving us so much to look forward to in the many T.V. Shows he was on and Movies he starred in.  Robin Williams was truly a master at the improvisation; an artist in words and actions that is indescribable in breathe and depth. Robin Williams was famous for his comic genius be them preformed before a live audience or not.

But there was another side to our brother Robin Williams which is equally shocked us as he  was able to reach deeper pulling from a place within and then show us through such riveting portrayals of his more dramatic roles which made us stop, think, and grow from the experience.  Thus, Robin was more than just an actor or comedian but rather a teacher of feelings, of life, of the experience of being alive. There is no way to really measure to the level he touched us with his gifts and talents, but it is known to how much we will miss our brother Robin William.

Robin was a husband, a father, and family-man above everything else and his life was extraordinarily private with good reason.  Once he had attained his enormous fame he lived with the knowledge  of what that fame may do to his private life as all stars do.  It is partly because of this privacy we are so shocked at his death. We are so touched and moved by some of the problems he faced and to the larger community of his fan base we are shocked because of the mountains of joy he gave so free to everyone, only to find out that he lived with such pain.  It would seem how could such an enormous talent pass away and yet in this moment we are reminded of what Our Lord Jesus had said over two thousands years ago about all things of the Earth.

35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” ~ Matthew 24:35

So in death we all morn for our brother Robin Williams and we all call out to God in our private pain we now feel.  Though in this moment we see the emptiness, the void Robin has left us with we must also acknowledge that however great this pain is he is know with Our Father in Heaven.  For that reason let us not morn but rejoice in the life he led, the joy he gave, the moments he shared, and his personal touch that he endowed us all with.

Let Us All Pray Together

God of power and mercy, you have made death itself the gateway to eternal life. Look with love on our brother Robin Williams, and make him one with Your Son in His suffering and death, that, sealed with the blood of Jesus Christ, he may come before you free from all his earthy sin. Lord we ask that you comfort his wife  Susan Schneider and his three children Zachary Pym Williams, Zelda Rae Williams, and Cody Alan Williams, and all of his other family members, extended families, and friends.  We ask Lord that you give them peace in this incredibly difficult time and that you give them solace in the fact you have made Robin McLaurin Williams part of your eternal family.

Silent Prayer

Lord, as we mourn the sudden death of Robin, show us the immense power of Your goodness and strengthen our belief that he has found favor with you Oh’ Lord, and that our brother Robin will rest in peace in the arms of your Son the risen Christ, and in Your Presence Forever and Ever.

Amen.

“Robin Williams we will all miss you.” ~ Worldwide Sentiment – August 11, 2014
